Our verdict
JamPlay + TrueFire for library size and annual value; Pickup Music for curation, pathways, and the safer guarantee.
JamPlay annual billing ($8.25/mo) undercuts Pickup ($179.99/yr) and its bundled library is far larger (70,000+ vs 1,000+ lessons), both trial 14 days. Pickup offers graded pathways and 1-on-1 video feedback across guitar, bass and piano, backed by a clear 60-day guarantee; JamPlay refund wording varies by page (14-30 days). Editorial recommendation based on price/features only - not hands-on testing.
