Our verdict
Yousician for playful, feedback-driven practice across instruments; Pickup Music for serious structured study with a human coach.
Pickup pricing is transparent ($29.99/mo, $179.99/yr, 14-day trial, 60-day guarantee, 1,000+ lessons, guitar/bass/piano pathways with 1-on-1 feedback). Yousician trials 7 days with microphone feedback and five instruments, but publishes no USD price on public pages and limits its 14-day refund to unused paid access. Editorial recommendation based on features/terms only - not hands-on testing.
